The Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes and honors distinguished graduates of the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences for their exceptional accomplishments, professional achievements, and lasting impact on their field. Recipients exemplify the values of Bumpers College through leadership, innovation, and meaningful contributions to their profession, community, and society.
Outstanding Young Alumni Award
The Outstanding Young Alumni Award recognizes and honors graduates of the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences under the age of 40 for their accomplishments and professional achievements. Recipients exemplify the values of Bumpers College and represent the next generation of leaders.
Distinguished Alumni Service Award
The Distinguished Alumni Service Award recognizes and honors alumni of the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences who received their first degree from Bumpers College more than five years ago. This award is presented for outstanding volunteer service and support of Bumpers College, including contributions made directly to the College or indirectly through college-related programs.
Nomination Guidelines:
Nominations should clearly communicate the nominee’s qualifications, principal justifications for receipt of the award, and overall merits, assuming the Committee has no prior knowledge of the nominee.
- Nomination packets remain valid for three years and may be resubmitted upon expiration.
- Self-nominations will not be accepted.
- Previous recipients of the same award are not eligible
- The Committee may waive guidelines in cases of extenuating circumstances.
- No person shall be recommended for this award while a candidate for public office.
