The Graduate Alumni Magazine
The Graduate is a publication for Alumni and Friends of the Dale Bumpers College of
Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences and the University of Arkansas System Division
of Agriculture. It is published once a year and distributed through mail and email.
If you're interested in receiving this issue via email, please email the Alumni Association and include a note with your full name, major and class year.
If you're looking for an older issue, please contact the Dean's Office to be sent an electronic version.
Here's a little teaser into our 2022 issue, which is available now:
Bob and Pat Schaefers, who met on campus in the 1960s and had been farming for 50 years, helped the U of A celebrate it’s sesquicentennial last year by using the logo for last year’s corn maze design on their farm in Mayflower. In this issue, you’ll also read about how alumni Dewayne Goldmon and Ron Rainey are in positions to address diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility issues on a national level; new roles for administrators Deacue Fields and Jean-Francois Meullenet; new scholarships and other initiatives alumni, friends and supporters have created; Randy Woodson, chancellor at North Carolina State University, our outstanding alumnus; Michael Pate, associate professor at Utah State University, our alumni society young alumnus; and innovative chicken products and dishes created by students in food science. There’s also our Year in Pics and Class Notes sections to get you caught up on the past year.
Has something new or significant happened with you? If so, we all want to know about it. Email submissions for our Class Notes section to the Arkansas Alumni Association at email@example.com. If you have a photo you want to share, pass that along, too. Please include your full name, major and class year for all degrees.
