The Graduate Alumni Magazine
The Graduate is a publication for Alumni and Friends of the Dale Bumpers College of
Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences and the University of Arkansas System Division
of Agriculture. It is published once a year and distributed through mail and email.
If you're interested in receiving this issue via email, please email the Alumni Association and include a note with your full name, major and class year.
If you're looking for an older issue, please contact the Dean's Office to be sent an electronic version.
Here's a little teaser into our 2018 issue, which is available now:
This issue focuses on recent successes of several of our graduates. Mac Campbell (agricultural economics) and Brittany Coffee Parker (agricultural communications) recently published books; sisters Carol (hospitality innovation) and Linda Baker (human nutrition and dietetics) combined their expertise and opened Baker’s Wakery, a food truck specializing in baked donuts; and Corrin Troutman (horticulture, landscape and turf sciences) and Olivera Jankovska (agricultural business) were named our outstanding alumna. And that’s in addition to the Boling sisters, our cover story on Kerri (agricultural business), Kendra (apparel studies) and Kayla (agricultural business). Plus, learn about the OneEgg child nutrition project led by Jeff Miller, professor of agricultural communications, along with Mechelle Bailey in human nutrition and Jamie Baum in food science; and get to know our new Dean, Deacue Fields, who has been on campus since May. Regular features include our photo highlights from the past year as well as the class notes and in memoriam sections.
Has something new or significant happened with you? If so, we all want to know about it. Email submissions for our Class Notes section to the Arkansas Alumni Association at email@example.com. If you have a photo you want to share, pass that along, too. Please include your full name, major and class year for all degrees.
