These programs are offered here that University of Arkansas through Global Campus and administered through Bumpers College.  Students interested in these programs should apply to the Graduate School here at the University of Arkansas. There is no difference between the degree diplomas earned by online students and those who attend face-to-face classes on campus. Either way, you are a Razorback!


 Master of Science in Agricultural and Extension Education

This degree program is designed for professionals in agriculture such as teachers, extension agents, and industry leaders who seek a social science or people-oriented focus in their degree rather than a technical agricultural science focus. This degree program focuses on professional understandings of how people learn and apply knowledge in agriculturally-related educational or work settings. Within the program, you may identify an area of concentration in the agricultural sciences or in education.

Master of Science in Food Safety
This interdisciplinary master's program expands the knowledge base and skill set of experienced food safety professionals working in industry to prepare them for higher positions in their field. The program is based on U.S. standards and focuses on topics such as food microbiology, toxicology, epidemiology, HACCP / Preventive Control, food law and regulations and sanitation and process control in the food industry. This non-thesis  graduate degree is administered entirely online by Bumpers College and does not require a GRE.

Master of Science in Human Environmental Sciences
The Master of Science in Human Environmental Sciences degree program offers several multifaceted options. Students can choose an interdisciplinary approach with the General Human Environmental Sciences degree or choose one of three concentrations. Apparel Merchandising and Product Development provides an education in regional and international apparel studies from development to sale. Hospitality Innovation prepares students for a range of careers in the hospitality industry from traditional services to elite destinations. Human Development and Family Sciences prepares students for employment in a variety of roles across many human service fields such as adult and child care, crisis and support services, and facilitators of adult adjustment. The online program also provides an option for an emphasis in gerontology.

ACCEPtS 
The Alliance for Cooperative Course Exchange in the Plant Sciences is a consortium of universities including the University of Arkansas, Louisiana State University, Oklahoma State University and Mississippi State University. The University of Arkansas participates through the Horticulture Department.

Great Plains IDEA and AG*IDEA Consortium 
AG*IDEA, an affiliate of the Great Plains IDEA, is a national consortium of land grant universities offering programs and courses in agriculture disciplines. The Agricultural and Extension Education programs participates in AG*IDEA, while the Human Environmental Science program offers an emphasis in gerontology through Great Plains IDEA.
