Because of the unique and close relationship between our college and the Division of Agriculture, students and the surrounding communities benefit immensely from the research conducted by our faculty and other researchers throughout the state. There are many research stations, Extension centers, and other unit locations across the state of Arkansas, all dedicated to impactful research to better the lives of Arkansans.

The Bumpers College has 9 academic departments and the School of Human Environmental Sciences. Each department conducts specific research based on their faculty expertise and department mission.

Agricultural Statistics Laboratory

The Agricultural Statistics Laboratory faculty and staff participate in collaborative research projects with Division and University scientists and with researchers outside of the University of Arkansas.  Laboratory faculty also devote a portion of their time to statistical research which is applicable to agricultural problems
