What do you enjoy most about your job/career?
Being in the hospitality business allows me to make a positive difference for those who are on the road, traveling both for business and leisure.
Something others may be surprised to learn about your field?
The strong impact on a guest’s perception when the hotel’s management has the wrong attitude (e.g. TripAdvisor reviews).
Why do you serve Bumpers College through the DPC?
It allows me the opportunity to help students experience the hospitality business through employment and internships in our IHG hotels.
Something you and the DPC have accomplished you are proud of?
The road shows across the state were very well received. Also, many Bumpers graduates have taken leadership roles within IHG.
If not in your current field, what might you be doing?
Professional bass fishing.
