Rodolfo (Rudy) M. Nayga, Jr., has joined the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness as a professor and holder of the new Tyson Endowed Chair in Food Policy Economics.

Ron Buescher resumed his research and teaching programs in December after serving as head of the food science department since February 2001. Jean-Francois Meullenet is serving as interim head during the search process for a new department head.
