Laura Sossamon was selected as one of 17 students invited to discuss the future of agriculture at USDA’s 2008 Agricultural Outlook Forum.

Seven Bumpers College students have been awarded the State Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) to help fund undergraduate research projects with a faculty mentor.
- UA Linnaean team wins national championship
The Department of Entomology Linnaean team won the national championship in the competition at the Entomological Society of America meeting.

They will continue work started last spring in Belize as part of a campus-wide project sponsored by the UA Honors College.
