Scottish Professor Visits HESC

Michael Herriott from the School of Marketing and Tourism at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland, was a visiting professor in the School of Human Environmental Sciences in September.

Michael Herriott, lecturer in the School of Marketing and Tourism at Napier University in Edinburgh, with Mary Warnock, director of the School  of Human Environmental Sciences.

In addition to presenting several lectures, Herriott and HESC Director Mary Warnock drafted a proposal for an academic link between the Marketing and Tourism Program at Napier and the Hospitality and Restaurant Management program here.

The proposed exchange agreement calls for two UA students to study at Napier each spring semester and one Napier student to enroll here each year.

Dr. Warnock visited Napier University in 2003, and several students have taken courses at Napier through the Bumpers College Global Studies Program.
