HUDSON SCHOLARSHIP — Richard Hudson, his wife, Freida; their grandsons, Heath and Blake; and Dr. Keith Lusby, head of the Department of Animal Science, are pictured below the portrait honoring the newly announced Hudson Family Endowed Scholarship to be presented annually to an outstanding student in Animal Science at the University of Arkansas.  The portrait, which hangs in the foyer of the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Center, depicts one of the Hudson's National Champion Hereford bulls and the three generations of Hudsons, Richard, his son Wes and his late father, Ralph.  The Hudson Ranch at Harrison is one of the oldest and most successful purebred operations in the state. The family’s $25,000 scholarship endowment “is just one of many ways the Hudson family supports our program,” Lusby said.
