ASID Student Chapter hosts national officer

Anita Baltimore of Nashville, national past-president of the American Society of Interior Designers, met Nov. 8 with the UA student chapter. Students from Harding University and ASID professional members from Northwest Arkansas, Fort Smith and Little Rock also participated.
The UA student chapter hosted Baltimore and Katie Thomas of Washington, D.C., an ASID staff member, and other guests for a dinner program and round-table discussions at the Fayetteville Town Center.
Baltimore came to Fayetteville in response to a personal invitation from UA student chapter president Paige Byrd of Greenwood.
Interior design is one of the most popular Bumpers College majors. Courses are taught by faculty in the School of Human Environmental Sciences. It is the only interior design program in Arkansas that is accredited by FIDER (the Foundation for Interior Design Education Research).
