Class of 2007 the largest

The Class of 2007 is the largest to graduate from Bumpers College, with an unofficial count of 225 students receiving the baccalaureate degree.

A record crowd estimated at 2,400 attended Commencement May 12 in the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Center. Dean Greg Weidemann said the ceremony might have to be moved to a larger facility.

		New Alumni. Bumpers College Alumni Society president Charlene Reed inducts the new graduates into the Arkansas Alumni Association.
Speakers. Commencement speakers were Outstanding Alumnus Cordia Harrington, president of Tennessee Bun Co. in Nashville, and Food Science major Brittany Adams of Jonesboro, Senior Scholar and John W. White Outstanding Student.
