Arkansas team wins regional food science college bowl
The Arkansas team of Food Science students won the Regional Institute of Food Technologists College Bowl competition April 14 at Louisiana State University. Team members are students Ken Over, Vishal Jain, Arvind Kannan, Brittany Adams, Lydia Rice, Sarah Stribling and coach Navam Hettiarachchy.
The Arkansas team won each round of the competition by a large margin and will next compete for the IFT College Bowl national championship July 30 in Chicago.
