Delta Classic Golf Tournament July 21
The Seventh Annual Delta Classic Scholarship Golf Tournament will be Friday, July 21, at the Helena Country Club. Since 2000, the tournament has raised funds to provide scholarships for students in the Department of Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences.
For the 2005-2006 school year, Delta Classic scholarships for a total of $24,000 were awarded.
Johnny Roach of Monticello will organize this year's tournament. A salesman with Hornbeck Seed Company, he is a member of the CSES Alumni and Friends group established in 1999, which started the tournament to help recruit students. To sponsor a hole or a team, or to donate to the tournament, contact:
