Vision goes digital with next issue Future issues of the Vision newsletter will be distributed by e-mail in a Web-based format to provide more timely and efficient distribution and to reduce production costs. In a recent e-mail survey of AAES and College faculty and staff, the 64 respondents were almost equally divided in their preference for a printed newsletter or an electronic version. In other survey responses, a large majority said they would like for Vision to continue to include the types of content now provided and that they read something in every issue. The new format is being developed to provide: e-mail delivery of an attractive, user-friendly list of contents; easy, intuitive navigation to find desired content on your Web browser; and minimal use of network account capacity. Although Vision is an internal newsletter for AAES and College faculty, staff and students, it also has been mailed to members of the Bumpers College Alumni Society at the request of the Societys board of directors. Starting with the July-August issue, the electronic newsletter will be e-mailed to the 927 Bumpers College Alumni Society members who have provided an e-mail address to the Arkansas Alumni Association. You can add your e-mail address to your Arkansas Alumni Association member information by sending an e-mail to records@razorback.com. |
