Alessi joins dean’s staff

Carmen Alessi has joined the Bumpers College administrative staff as assistant to Dean Greg Weidemann.
Alessi came from the UA Office of Planned Giving in Development, where she was Administrative Assistant from Oct. 2005 - Feb. 2007. Prior to that, she was Administrative Office Supervisor for the UA Director of Football Operations from 1990-2005. In that position, she worked closely with coaches on recruiting activities.
Alessi has a B.S. degree in education from the U of A and is working on a master’s degree in workforce development in the College of Education and Health Professions. A native of St. Charles, Ill., she lived in Forrest City from the age of 10 and graduated from Forrest City High School.
Alessi is active in her church and is a member of the steering committee for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to support cancer research.
