College Bowl Winners

The Food Science College Bowl Team won the south-central region competition sponsored by the Institute of Food Technologists in March and will compete in the National College Bowl at the Annual IFT Meeting July 16-20 in New Orleans.

The team includes Ilankovan Paraman (captain), Vishal Jain, Ken Over and Brittany. Alternates are Daniel Webber and Suzanne Elser. As regional champions the team received a plaque and a $1,000 travel grant to attend the national competition. The coach for this competition was Dr. Navam Hettiarachchy.
