Environmental Education Day
Dr. Tommy Daniel, right, plays a game with home school students April 1 during Environmental Education Day. The game was intended to teach the students about the importance of protecting water and other natural resources. Dr. Mary Savin said 40 students ages 5 to 14 participated in the activities aimed at teaching them about environmental sciences. Environmental Education Day was organized by students in the Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science Club and Moms Identifying Needs and Inspiration (MINI), a home schooling group in Washington, Benton and Madison counties. |
