Jamie Bentley joined the Division of Agriculture administrative team May 29 as personnel officer for the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station. She had been with the UA Department of Human Resources for 12 years, most recently as compensation resources administrator.
Bentley is a Fayetteville native. She has a bachelor's degree in personnel management and a master's degree in higher education administration, all from the UA. She and her husband, David, have three children and live in Farmington.
Glenda Rufer, who served as personnel officer for the past 10 years, is helping Bentley make a smooth transition into the new job before leaving for Denton, Texas, where her husband, Tom is director of the University Union at the University of North Texas.
