Field Days Cover Range of Topics

The Division of Agriculture will host five field days in August and September at Research and Extension Centers and Branch Experiment Stations.

Forestry and wildlife will be the topics at two field days — at Pine Tree Branch Station near Colt on Aug. 26, and at SWREC in Hope on Sept. 28.

Visitors will tour research plots and hear about new technology and recommendations for major Arkansas crops of cotton, rice, soybeans, wheat, corn and grain sorghum at the following events.

Aug. 3. Southeast Branch Station, Rohwer. (Rohwer Division of Southeast Research and Extension Center, Monticello).

Aug. 9. Rice Research and Extension Center, Stuttgart.

Aug. 24. Lon Mann Cotton Research Station, Marianna.

Sept. 7. Judd Hill Field Day, Trumann. (Sponsored by Judd Hill Foundation, with Division faculty participating.)
