newsletter for faculty, staff and students July-August 2004 Vol. 30, No. 4 Farm Bureau awards scholarships Eight students have been awarded scholarships from the Arkansas Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation, established in 2002 to providing financial assistance to children or grandchildren of Farm Bureau members pursuing studies in agriculture at an Arkansas college. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, character, career plans, financial need and leadership potential. The scholarships are valued at $1,000 for the academic year. Scholarship recipients for 2004-05 include:
