Academic Enhancement Workshops

The Academic Enhancement Program, which helps students with academic performance and intellectual and career development, is offering five student workshops for the Spring Semester.

John Kelly said the workshops are designed to help improve study skills, adapt to student life, and enhance job-seeking skills.

The Academic Enhancement Program also works with students experiencing academic or personal problems. Contact Dr. Kelly at 575-2347 or jkelly@uark.edu for an appointment.

Dr. Kelly is a Licensed Associate Counselor by the State of Arkansas and has an M.S. degree in Counseling Education. In addition Dr. Kelly has a doctoral degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics. He currently has a split appointment in Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences and the Bumpers College Dean’s Office.

All five workshops are open to the general student population and will be conducted from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in AGRI 332 on the following dates:

• Jan. 27: Time Management

• Feb. 10: Study Skills

• March 10: Test Anxiety

• April 7: Resume Writing

• April 21: Interviewing Skills
