1. Brown Bag Internal Branding Webinar, Thursday. Interested faculty members and department and college administrators are invited to join the Prospective Student Relations Committee for a Brown Bag Lunch Webinar on "Internal Branding" Thursday, Dec. 14, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., in Arkansas Union 509-510. A discussion of Bumpers College branding and marketing strategy will follow the Webinar. Presenter Rex Whisman is Principal for the BrandED consultants group and formerly led an innovative brand development program at the University of Denver . 2. Spatial Statistics Workshop. Faculty and graduate students interested in attending a workshop on "Spatial statistics in agricultural research" during the latter part of the second week in January are asked to contact Dr. Ed Gbur, Agricltural Statistics. E-mail him at egbur@uark.edu with your preferences for workshop dates of Jan. 10, 11 or 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The workshop will provide an introduction to the basic concepts of spatial statistics and how they can be applied in agricultural research. Incorporation of spatial considerations into experimental design, analysis of variance and regression problems will be discussed.
