Marjorie Fitch-Hilgenberg requested the following change: Course: HESC 5264 (Medical Nutrition Therapy I) and HESC 5273 (Medical Nutrition Therapy II) Change: Adding the option for a student to "Audit" the class. Justification: The "Audit" status allows students who want to gain knowledge without taking exams. This would only apply to the graduate section of these courses. The request was for this to be a 1st and 2nd reading. Marjorie Fitch-Hilgenberg made the motion to accept the changes noted as 1st and 2nd readings. Susan Takigiku seconded the motion. There was discussion regarding the necessity for an administrative change of registration form. It was clarified that an administrative change of registration form is required for all requests for audits. Marjorie Fitch-Hilgenberg made the motion to accept the proposal as 1st and 2nd readings. Susan Takigiku seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous to accept the proposed first and second reading.
b) HESC 4071 – Minor Change for Information Only

5) Administrative Reports
Alice Griffin presented the committee with a DRAFT copy of a Course Substitution Form. She emphasized that this is a DRAFT copy only, and should not be shared outside of the committee.
The minor in art is not going to be offered from this point forward.
ARTS 1003 will no longer be offered, effective after Spring 2009. Alice reminded everyone that a course substitution form would need to be completed, if the student did not want to change their catalog year.
Alice also noted that ETEC 2002/2001L will no longer be offered. MGMT 3653 will be offered for non-business minors.
Alice also shared that there will be no paper form of the 2009-2010 catalog. This will be a tough adjustment for some people.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:50 p.m. by Laurie Apple.
