Bumpers College student Katie Waldrip named to Homecoming Court

Katie Waldrip of Moro, a Bumpers College senior in dietetics and hospitality management with a minor in agricultural business, has been named to the campuswide 2012 Homecoming Court. She was nominated by the Hospitality Club. (See http://newswire.uark.edu/article.aspx?id=19467)
She and four other nominees will vie for Homecoming Queen. Elections for queen will be held between 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, and 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, through http://vote.uark.edu. The queen will be announced at the pep rally on Friday, Nov. 2.
Homecoming Court members will participate in the parade, pre-game and other events during the week of Oct. 28. The full court will be presented during the football game halftime show on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Waldrip's campus activities include the Razorback Diamond Dolls, Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, College Republicans, R.E.A.L. Razorbacks and Hot Pink Ribbon.
