Ambassadors embark on busy schedule

The Bumpers College Ambassadors started another year of service to the university this fall with a full schedule of activities. In September they served as hosts for the Carnival of Clubs and assisted the Bumpers College Alumni Society with its tailgate on the day of the Alabama football game.

In October they also helped with activities surrounding the visit of Ambassador Islam Siddiqui of the U.S. Trade Representative Office and hosted Start Fresh, an opportunity for freshmen to learn about internships, study abroad, student budgeting and university recreation clubs. The Ambassadors also provided support at the college's scholarship luncheon by guiding guests to the proper location and introducing scholarship donors to the audience.

"This year's Ambassadors are a very hard working, team oriented and conscientious group of students that not only represent their departments well, but are excellent student representatives for the entire college," said Alice Griffin, Ambassadors advisor.
