Celebrating the Dale Bumpers Legacy

An observance of the fifteenth anniversary of the naming of Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences on April 14.

9 am. - 11 a.m. -- Sen. Bumpers met with students and faculty members in Room 108 in the Home Economics Building.

Noon – 1:30 p.m. -- Sen. Bumpers and his wife, Betty Bumpers, joined students, faculty, administrators and other invited guests for a luncheon in the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. A historical marker on the "Dale Bumpers Legacy" was presented to Sen. Bumpers.

2 p.m. - 3 p.m. -- Senator Bumpers met in the Mullins Library Special Collections Department with faculty, staff and students who are working on official papers that he donated.

3:15 p.m. - 4 p.m. -- Senator and Mrs. Bumpers attended a reception in Mullins Library.
