CSES professors edit new 'Physiology of Cotton' book
Bumpers College and Division of Agriculture professors James McD. Stewart and Derrick M. Oosterhuis, department of crop, soil, and environmental sciences, are editors of a new book, Physiology of Cotton, along with Professor James J. Heitholt, Texas A&M University, and Jack R. Mauney, Western Cotton Research Laboratory, USDA-ARS, Mesa, Ariz.The chapters in the book were assembled to provide those dealing with the production of cotton with the basic knowledge of the physiology of the plant required to manage the cotton crop in a profitable manner. The 564 page hardcover book was published by Springer Publishing Co., New York.
