The general human environmental sciences major will give you a broad understanding of all the specialized areas found in the school of human and environmental sciences.

Our major helps prepare you for a variety of different careers helping people with the basic needs of food, clothing, housing and the human dimensions of personal, family, and community life.

We learn about how people interact with each other and the different environments in which we live, where work, where we shop, and well, you get the idea.

It's a fascinating field.

The specialized areas are: apparel studies, interior design, food, human nutrition, and hospitality, and human development and family sciences.

We get to know the teachers and students in the other majors. And if you find that one of these is for you, it is easy to switch.
