Bumpers College Announces the Fall 2014 Call for Proposals for Undergraduate Project / Research Grants
Undergraduate research and creative activity is a capstone to quality educational experiences and critical to developing students as future leaders. Students who participate in quality undergraduate research and creative project experiences will be better prepared for careers and more competitive in the next steps of their academic or professional career. The attached letter outlines two opportunities that are available for undergraduate capstone and honors project funding.
1. Bumpers Honors Program Undergraduate Research and Creative Project grants program (available to all Bumpers College students)
2. Honors College Undergraduate Research Grants (available to all UA Honors students)
Students may concurrently receive grants from both sources and are encouraged to apply for all sources of funding to complete their projects.
Undergraduate research and creative activity enhances the educational experience and improves student learning, and marketability for careers and professional schools. Students and their faculty advisors/mentors are encouraged to participate in these undergraduate capstone and honors grants programs supporting student inquiry and development.
