Students who major in Animal Science or Poultry Science are grounded in the science, technology, business and hands-on applications of animal agriculture and the meat and poultry industry. Concentrations, minors and options include Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Equine Science (Horses) and Companion Animals.
Our Animal Science and Poultry Science programs are nationally ranked. The University of Arkansas’ Center of Excellence for Poultry Science is one of the nation’s top programs for teaching, research and extension in poultry science.
