Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers:
Greetings from the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food & Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas! We’d like to invite you to our annual Bumpers College Career Day on Thursday, November 5th. We want to provide you with an opportunity to explore majors and careers, talk with professors and advisors, learn about financial aid and scholarships, student life, and housing. You will also be able to meet current students, alumni, and tour the campus.
If you will be able to join us that day, we’ve included a registration form to be completed and returned to me via fax or mail. You may also email your responses to me as well. We only ask that you respond on or before Monday, November 2nd.
Registration will be from 9:00 to 10:00 am with the program beginning at 10:00 am in the University of Arkansas Student Union Ballroom. Our day will conclude at 2:00 pm. Here are a few additional details to make your visit to campus a fun and successful one:

From U.S. Highway 540:
Northbound:
From the South: Take I-40 to I-540 North. Take exit 61 and turn right at the end of the ramp onto Cato Springs Road. Cato Springs Road becomes Razorback Road. Continue on Razorback Road, heading north towards the corner of Razorback and 15th Street. Campus parking at Baum Baseball Stadium will be on your left.
Southbound:
From I-540 take Hwy 62 (exit #62).
Turn left onto Hwy 62 (also Sixth Street). Continue on Hwy 62/Sixth Street and take a right at the stoplight onto Razorback Road. Continue on Razorback, heading south towards the corner of Razorback and 15th Street. Campus parking at Baum Baseball Stadium will be on your right.
Eastbound:
Take Hwy 412 East via the Cherokee Turnpike from Tulsa, Oklahoma to I-540 South. Then follow the Southbound directions. Or, take I-40 East to I-540, then follow the Northbound directions.
Westbound: Take Hwy. 412 West to I-540, then follow the Southbound directions. Or, take
I-40 West to I-540, then follow the Northbound directions.
Accomodations
If you plan to spend the night in Northwest Arkansas, please contact the Fayetteville Convention and Visitor's Bureau at 1-800-766-4626. This office maintains a database of all of the available hotel rooms in Northwest Arkansas and will allow you to book a hotel room directly through their office.
Parking
Free parking will be available at Baum Baseball Stadium on Razorback Road. The baseball stadium is just southwest of the University near the corner of Razorback Road and 15th Street. We will have student ambassadors in green blazers available in the parking lot to assist you in boarding shuttle vans to the Student Union. You will need to plan an extra 15-20 minutes to shuttle up to the Union. Upon arrival to the Union, please make your way to the registration desk outside the Union Ballroom for the 9:00 - 10:00am check-in.
Meals
Lunch will be provided for each participant and guest(s).
