Honors Mentor
Each Honors Student is responsible for selecting his/her Honors Mentor. Visit with a variety of faculty and select a mentor to work with who mutually agrees to a topic of interest. Possible AFLS Honors Program Mentors

Honors Thesis Committee
The Honors Student and Honors Mentor work together to decide who will serve on the student’s Honors Thesis Committee. This Committee is comprised of at least 3 faculty members one of whom must be a member of the Honors Faculty Committee representing the AFLS Honors Program. Honors students may have more than the required 3 members on the Honors Thesis Committee.
The Honors Thesis Committee members are to be available to assist in answering questions related to the Honors Thesis Project. In addition, once the project is completed and thesis written, the student will meet with his/her mentor and Committee to defend his/her work.
Format of Thesis
Each Honors Student along with their Honors Mentor and Honors Thesis Committee members decide the format the thesis should follow.
