Honors Curriculum
Graduation with Honors Distinction requires each student must complete 12 credit hours in the AFLS Honors Program. Each student must complete 6 credit hours of AFLS Honors courses and 6 hours of thesis credit with a faculty mentor. Students are also encouraged to take Honors courses in other colleges. Individual students may petition for substitution of honors courses from other colleges to count toward the 6 hours of AFLS Honors credits required to complete the program. Enrollment in the AFLS Honors Thesis course is by permission only. Please complete the request to enroll form and obtain the signature(s) of your Academic Advisor and Honors Thesis Mentor. The signed form should be returned to the Director of the AFLS Honors Program.
