Current Duties
The Director of Development for Bumpers College helps to plan and works to implement the college's fund-raising priorities and institutional advancement activities. This position reports to the Dean of the college and to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and is part of an overall university advancement program and the college's administration. The Director of Development's primary responsibility is to secure private sector funding. The Director plays an important role as the major gift officer in planning for and executing the college's component of the University's yearly private sector funding goals.
